Color / Tonal Resolution

Video equipment that utilize full color pixel depth represent the best in imaging system trades. Below the color standard, several characteristics are lost to image analysis. Notice how the blue paint near the nose of the subject is completely unnoticable in the monochrome images. Color capabilities also give the investigator a wider range of selection as to identifying objects, such as specific colors, whereas utilizing the monochrome images, the investigator is restricted to identifying only aspects such as size and shape.
