Image enhancement may be attained through a technique called frame averaging, in which several frames of identical scenes are coincided to produce an increase in detail and thereby resoluteness in the identification of objects. Shown above is a single video frame of a suspect vehicle. Shown below is a 200 frame average of the same video frame.
